Have you ever heard about ERASMUS+? What is it? What for?
Erasmus+ is the European programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. This kind of programmes grants for projects which aims to increase knowledges and professional aptitudes and to support the modernisation of teaching and training systems.
Thanks to these projects financed by European social fund, our students and teachers can travel and live a very enriching experience in other European countries. It is actually a great chance of bringing people and culture all together, as the motto of the EU: Unity with Diversity.
This year, we are delighted at school, we are given two Erasmus+ projects: European Cultural Heritage for Primary and, Cinema and Digital Competences for Secondary students.

When I asked my students to write a postcard to me from an imaginary place or country, at first they were afraid, they didn't know how to start, what they had to tell me, … but then, they got involved and it was quite easy for them, because they had to follow these steps…
1. Greeting: Dear, Miss ..., / Hi, teacher!,
2. Body - answer these questions: Where are you? What are you doing?, What's the weather like?, who are you going with?, any adventure?, places or monuments you are visiting, and so on.
3. closing: Regards from … / Best wishes, …
4. You can take a real postcard or pick up a nice picture a write on the other side.
Two days later, I collected and corrected their lovely postcards, you can see them on these pictures. I hope you'll like this activity. It's a very useful task to start writing.

Last week, I was surfing on the internet, actually looking for inspiration, when I met Rita Pierson's TED TALK by chance, every teacher should watch the video, it's really worthwhile!!! Rita Pierson has been working as a Teacher for over 40 years. I'd like to stand out some parts of her inspiring speech:
Kids don't learn from people they don't like",
...
"I have had classes that were so low, so academically deficient, that I cried. I wondered, "How am I going to take this group, in nine months, from where they are to where they need to be?
And .. it was awfully hard. How do I raise the self-esteem of a child and his academic achievement at the same time?
One year I told all my students, "You were chosen to be in my class because I am the best teacher and you are the best students". One of the students said, "Really?"
Teaching and learning should bring joy... Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be".
If you really want to get a great mark in your coming exam, you can click on the following links, these exercises are very useful to revise everything.

The language assistant and I asked them: Why is it special for you? Who gave you this? When did they give you this? Why? We just tried to elicit the whole story behind their particular object.

Here we go! Let's click on the following links to revise Unit 3 from Oxford Mosaic 2. In this unit, we are learning about Will, Going to, 1st Conditional, Environment and Health-Illnesses.
As you well know, all Conditionals sentences have two parts: one the condition (if ...) and the other is the result. Depending on the speaker's intention, we can use the Zero Cond. for general truths, the 1st Cond. when the result is real or probable, the 2nd for hypothetical actions, and the 3rd one when the speaker thinks this action is unreal or impossible.
Now let's look at the chart and see all types of conditionals, pay attention to their verbal forms.
Now, click on the following links to do lots of exercises.
From my point of view, talking about past year 2017 and the new coming year 2018 is a very positive way to speak about your new goals, hobbies, dreams, trips, family, ... Because of that, I love doing these kind of worksheets with my students, first speaking in small groups and then, writing down their new year resolutions. I hope you'll like it!
