COLOURS... IN A DIFFERENT WAY?


Hi, Guys!!!,

Today, I'd like to teach you some expressions related with COLOURS, can you use these in a composition? Yes, sure! OK, let's read about British customs...

1. He's red-faced = He's embarrassed.

2. I've got the blues = I'm sad.

3. She's the green with envy = She's very envious.

4. You're in the pink = You're successful.

5. I'm seeing red = I'm very angry.

6. He's blue-blooded = He's aristocratic.

7. I'm in the black = I've got the money in my bank account.

8. I'm in the red = I haven't got any money in my bank account.
